“Pinebrook”Havanese was named after the Subdivision we live in. Since 1990, we have proudly called this HOME. We are located in Lombard, IL. ( 25 miles West of Chicago). Our 'human” portion of our family consists of Eric, Bonnie, Sara & Beth Kramer.
In 1/02, while on a vacation in Wisconsin, we met “BUDDY” the Havanese, at an unplanned trip to a dog show. What can we say? We were instantly hooked and thus our quest to find out more about this breed began. It was during this search on the internet that we found our wonderful breeders & friends, Margie & Steve Staniszeski of ERAS Havanese. (Ironically, Margie and Steve also turned out to be Buddy's breeders!)
In March 2002 “Bailey”, our first havanese, was born. We truly consider this breed and especially our Bailey, to be a gift from heaven because she came along, unplanned, at a difficult time following the death of Bonnie's dad.
In November of 2002, all Margie had to do was call and say she had a really nice show prospect pup, and along came “Abby”. You will see once you own ONE, that there is no stopping you. It seems no one can 'hav' just one! Happens to all of us. LOL
First and foremost, our dogs are companions and then they are show dogs. They live with us and are truly members of our family. Our family is now complete! ……. Or is it?
